Unusual and rare miniature lantern for a Hina doll display. This is a wooden, vermilion-lacquered lantern. It appears to be quite old, with yellowing and stains on the washi paper of the firebox. There is a small hole in one of the faces (see image 12). The paint on the inside of the firebox is peeling in places. Height: 14.5cm There is no original box.
