We hope to bring wealth to many people through ironware. That is our wish. The name Oitomi is taken from the 5th generation, Tominosuke Oikawa. Oitomi was founded in 1848 as Hoshodo by the first generation, Rigenta Oikawa, in the present-day Mizusawa Hada area of Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. Under the protection of the Date clan, they were active as the exclusive kama masters of the Date family. The history of Oitomi, which began with the tea ceremony, has continued for over 170 years and is still being carried on today. The ironware industry of Iwate Prefecture, which has two roots, Morioka and Oshu, was designated as a traditional craft as Nanbu Tekki, and we have been conveying the charm of ironware that has been passed down in this area since ancient times. We are a group of craftsmen who are working on sustainable manufacturing, preserving and utilizing iron, which has been a major resource supporting human civilization from the birth of the earth to the present day, for generations to come. This is a description of an unused condition item manufactured by Nanbu Oitomi Hoshodo, Shin-shi (2001) The condition of the inside and outside of the product is generally good. There is some discoloration inside, but there is no problem with use (see images 14-17). This product has been treated with the traditional oxide film process. There is no problem with iron supplementation. Please consider the actual capacity to be about 1 liter. The handle is fixed. For customers who wish, we will include a simple instruction manual. There are individual differences in the condition of the product, so please read the description and view the images carefully before making your decision. There are no water leaks or other problems. There may be stains, discoloration, dullness, scratches, and scuffs that are not visible in the images.
