Inaba Vintage Cloisonne Box with flower pattern c.1921-1930 These were exported to Europe and the U.S.A in the late Taisho and early Showa eras and were very popular with the upper classes. This box is in excellent condition as shown, with an Inaba stamp on the bottom and inside the bottom right over the "MADE IN JAPAN" mark. This stamp has been used since 1921. The interior appears to be nickel silver over a brass base. There are two birds on the top lid and a wave pattern on the bottom.
