It can be difficult to keep a lot of picture books at home due to space constraints, but I realized by watching my child that they won't become book lovers if they don't have books to read when they want to. (My child said they wanted to buy books because they wanted to read them right away.) It would be great to go to the library frequently, but it's hard to go, and if there are no books nearby, the opportunity to read decreases. So, we bought various books and placed them in a visible place in the living room, and then my child started picking them up and reading them often. Sometimes, children will show interest not only in books they like but also in books that parents want them to read. From my experience as a nursery teacher, I think children love being read to. Please keep many picture books near your child and read to them often. However, books are expensive if you buy them properly, so a used bulk sale is recommended.
