The musical scale is from C (Do) to B (Si), the seven notes of Do Re Mi Fa So La Si. There are no semitones. The high-pitched crystal bowls A and B produce sound easily when rubbed with a rubber ball mallet on the side of the bowl. The weight in the two cases is approximately 15 kg.
