It has a string tied a few centimeters from the opening. You can adjust the length to some extent by changing the folding position. Depending on the person, if you untie the string or pull out the top fold to take out the flute, I recommend Type A if it's in stock and the size of the Shinobue fits. I've folded it for the photos, so please refer to the pattern on the front in the second photo, which is flipped over. It should fit three Shinobue flutes with a diameter of about 16mm if placed in a pyramid shape. It might be good for holding something about 48cm long when folded in half. Length: Approximately 58.5cm (unfolded) Width: Approximately 7cm It's the type that ties with two strings sewn on the side, as shown in the photo. I can't play the flute at all, so I don't know what key length it's for. I make them based on the lengths that my fellow hayashi (festival music) performers have.
