This is a decorative item for the sleeveless coat (hifu) worn by a three-year-old for Shichi-Go-San (a Japanese festival for children). It's made with thick Edo-style braided cord, a cotton pearl-style bead in the center, and a tassel. The color is white. The knot may loosen, but if it does, pulling on the petal-shaped parts will restore it. Please understand this before purchasing. As shown in the third image, it can also be made into a brooch type for an additional 100 yen. The brooch pin is attached in the opposite direction from the norm so that right-handed people can easily attach it from the front. Therefore, the pin's storage position is upside down.
