This is a wooden box made by a long-established Wakayama lacquerware shop, adapted for the mid-century era. It's constructed like a bentwood lunch box (mage wappa). I think it's a rare item that you don't often see. How about using it as a wine server or for decoration? Condition: No box. Upon amateur inspection, there are characteristic cracks (kannyu), but no chips. Please understand that it has been stored for a long time. I've taken many photos.
