In 1917 (Taisho 6), it was established as Toyo Toki Co., Ltd., with Nippon Toki Gomei Kaisha (now Noritake) as its parent company. Toyo Toki (now TOTO) ceased its tableware business in 1970, but it was highly regarded both domestically and internationally. This is a very old item, over 70 years old, and has been stored at home for a long time. Although it has hardly been used, the back side has slightly yellowed due to aging. Although it is difficult to see in the photos, upon close inspection, there are a few small indentations on the surface, which appear to have been made during production.
