● This is a modified BOSS TU-2. It's an essential tuner for guitars and basses, but the buffer section has been modified to improve the sound. Several capacitors and resistors have been replaced, and the solder joints have been improved, resulting in a focused, core sound. The sound quality improves just by passing the signal through either the upper OUT (with mute) or the lower BYPASS OUT. It's "just" a tuner, but it's also convenient as a mute switch, and it's the effect pedal I use the most, as the sound always passes through it. I always list the same item, but each time it's a different unit. This time it comes with the original box and instruction manual, and it's a clean unit.
