This is a set of the JOYO JF-01 Vintage Overdrive (reportedly a TS-808 clone), known as an affordable and good-sounding effect pedal, and the Vintage Drive 2 (BOSS SD-1 Super Overdrive clone) from the effect pedal DIY kit sales site, Tacky Parts.com. The originals of these two effect pedals both use electronic switch bypass, which affects the clean tone and the distortion sound of the following stages. Therefore, I was looking for ones that had been modified to true bypass, but they were unreasonably expensive, and I thought, "I just want to try them out..." I'm selling them because I realized I didn't need them after combining them with the distortion from my other pedals and amp. There's nothing wrong with their functionality. The Tacky Parts version was assembled in advance for an additional fee, so the chances of it breaking are low. I don't have an environment to try a real TS808, so I've never played one, but I have played an SD-1. I think they're almost the same. Based on my experience with an Arion Tubulator a long time ago and recently trying a new TS-9: It's not as thin as the Tubulator. I think the Tubulator had an extremely high-mid focused sound. The TS-9 had a terrible dullness in its bypass sound, and I thought it was a bit high-mid focused. When using them as standalone overdrive pedals, I prefer the JF-01 over these two models.
