It's a bright light yellow with very high transparency, but it exhibits pleochroism, so it changes its appearance depending on the light source and angle, ranging from a darker yellow to orange to brown. Sinhalite isn't very well-known as a rare stone, but it's a rare gem with limited distribution that is known by those in the know. Furthermore, because the amount in circulation is small and the raw stones are small, large stones are even rarer (and the amount mined has decreased in recent years). While many are less than 1ct, this one is a big size at 7.298ct. Although it's large, it has very few inclusions, but they are on the back...
