This is a work by my father. It's a sumi-e (ink wash painting) of cosmos flowers (秋桜, kosumosu). The frame is made from unwanted Japanese clothing (kimono) and obi sashes. An acrylic film is applied over the painting to prevent deterioration. It comes with a string for hanging on the wall.
