I made a sleeping bag cover using DuPont Tyvek. This "Nenbukku Mamorukun" (Sleeping Bag Protector) is a sleeping bag cover designed for three-season tent camping. When I go tent camping in the summer, I bring my NANGA Aurora 280DX. I want to keep my gear as light as possible, but it can get unexpectedly cold in the mountains even in summer, and I often wake up in the middle of the night. So, I bring "Nenbukku Mamorukun" with me as a protective charm. By covering the sleeping bag with it, you can not only protect the sleeping bag from condensation that fills the tent but also increase its warmth. The size is approximately 225 cm long, 90 cm wide at the opening, 65 cm wide at the hem, and 26 cm gusset when laid flat. The weight is approximately 250g (there may be slight individual differences). The design emphasizes a wide opening to reduce stress when getting in and out, and a narrower width towards the foot to reduce wasted space and fabric, thereby reducing weight. Also, as shown in the fourth photo, the areas near the opening where stress is applied are reinforced, and the sides are finished with a bag stitch for added strength.
