The lantern part and the legs can be disassembled for storage. I purchased this about 15 years ago. I used to display it every Obon, but I've decided to sell it because I'm considering replacing it with something more compact. There may be some minor scratches, but I have confirmed that the lights and rotation work, and there are no operational issues or major damage.
