This is a 1965 creation by Mitsuru Tamura, a Japanese classical guitar maker. He was a master craftsman who, along with his brother Hiroshi Tamura, produced many high-quality guitars at the Tamura Guitar Workshop. This model features a solid spruce top, rosewood sides & back, and an ebony fingerboard. The sides and back appear to be either solid wood or plywood, and it was not possible to determine which. There are several repaired cracks, so please check images 19 and 20. All areas appear to be stable and without problems. Some top drop and bulging of the soundboard are visible, but it is currently stable. The string height is 2.7mm to 3.5mm, making it easy to play, and there is no fret buzz. Some of the tuning pegs are bent, but there are no functional problems. Rust removal and grease have been applied, and the movement is stable. It has a lustrous sound with a moderate hardness. The sound is also clear. The excessive low frequencies are not too prominent, making it suitable for singing and playing.
