This is the second version of the Tamron A09 28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di SP lens for Nikon. Included accessories are front and rear caps and a filter. The filter has a small scratch near the center. Because it has a built-in lens motor, autofocus can be used even with D3000 series and D5000 series cameras that do not have a body motor. The optics have some dust and debris, but are clean with no mold or clouding. The black spot near the center of the lens in image 2 is dirt in the background. The reason for the "as-is" condition is that there is a crack in the filter mounting frame. Also, the front lens retaining ring or cosmetic ring is missing. The left side of image 6 is the A09 for Pentax, and the right side is this lens. It's a little difficult to see, but the edge of the lens is visible on the Nikon version. By attaching a filter and applying tape to the cracked area, there were no practical problems. Otherwise, I was able to use it normally, including autofocus, without any concerns.
