○ From the Kuroda Collection: The World of Masuo Ikeda, Printmaker 2002, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and other venues Nihon Keizai Shimbun 326 pages, 256 x 192mm This exhibition introduces the rich world of Masuo Ikeda's two-dimensional art, focusing on his prints from the Kuroda Collection, ranging from delicate early copperplate prints to bold color lithographs, his unique expressionistic erotic world, and his later years when he returned to Japanese classics. In addition, valuable works from 1956 to 1997 are included, such as works from the 1970s using watercolors and frottage, a drawing series depicting fashion model Sayoko Yamaguchi for a technical book, and early oil paintings. There are scratches, wrinkles, and minor damage on the front cover, back cover, and spine, and there are stains on the first and last pages (photos 4 and 5) when opened, but otherwise it is in good condition.
