I'm not sure of the material, but it appears to be a velvet-like fabric combined with chiffon, and it has glitter. It's primarily black, with touches of dark blue. I've only used it a few times, but I feel like there might be a slight snag (it might be the nature of the fabric), so I've marked the condition as "no noticeable stains."
