We use carefully selected Japanese-grown Sen (Japanese oak) wood for the base, and skilled woodworkers craft each one by hand. These dishes are very lightweight, have excellent heat insulation, and can be stacked. Designed for outdoor use, they are also durable enough to withstand some rough handling.
