Made in Japan in 1982, this is a BF-2, the model before BOSS's current Flanger BF-3. It's in relatively good condition for a unit over 40 years old, with few scratches. The flanging effect has a sound that isn't too extreme, feeling like a BOSS-typical sound. I bought it about 25 years ago at a used instrument store and used it for 2-3 years, after which it spent most of its time in an effects case, untouched. The knobs have been removed and cleaned with alcohol. The rubber part on the front was slightly warped from when I bought it.
