This dress was made by deconstructing, washing, and ironing an Oshima Tsumugi kimono with basting stitches still attached. The Oshima Tsumugi features a black base with large red and green floral patterns. The shadows and highlights shimmer beautifully in the light, making you want to stare. It's such a beautiful Oshima that I hesitated to cut it, and kept it for a while. I decided to cut it and made a rich gathered dress ( ´ ▽ ` ) The large red flower is placed in the center of the chest. The sleeves are a gorgeous double frill. Tie the waist ribbon for an elegant look. Even without the ribbon, the fine gathered luster is very lovely. The skirt length is also a long length, so it's elegant. The fabric is relatively thick and sturdy among Oshima Tsumugi, and also has a good drape. Furthermore, it's light and supple. It's a very comfortable dress to wear. This is a one-of-a-kind dress, the only one in the world. I hope someone will like it. This is a handmade item, so there may be some imperfections. Please understand.
