This is a handkerchief made of linen with all the embroidery done by hand, including the edging. The fabric is firm and crisp. As it is linen, there are neps. See image 5. (Neps are almost inevitable during the manufacturing of linen fabric.) Although it is new, it has been washed and ironed so it can be used immediately.
