The cotton's color is usually highly white due to current breeding practices, but this denim recreates a creamy color similar to the brown cotton of the time, using a blend of American cotton (E.M.O.T "Eastern, Memphis, New Orleans, Texas"). It reproduces a deeper indigo color than regular denim, without any sulfur dyeing. The buttons are original tack buttons. The belt loop width, placement, and rivet locations are based on the wartime model, with some arrangement.
