Fender Japan D'aquisto DA2000 Mod, manufactured around 1990 Fender, one of the two major brands that built the era of electric guitars, has a Japanese licensed brand that gained immense popularity both domestically and internationally for its high-quality Japanese-made instruments at reasonable prices. James D'Aquisto, who studied under the legendary craftsman John D'Angelico. The DA2000, an archtop guitar designed in collaboration with Fender around the 1990s during his lifetime. This is a Japanese-made model planned by Fender Japan, separate from the Custom Shop line. It is a successor to the Master Series of the time, and is a very rare instrument with a limited number of units due to the made-to-order production system. This is the "Elite" model of the Master Series, featuring pearl block inlays and an ebony fingerboard. It has a beautiful archtop carving typical of D'Aquisto and luxurious flamed grain laminated sides and back. Once you strum it, you'll feel the nuances and deep flavor of the message from the master craftsman. The pickups have been replaced with Benedetto Guitar's B6 PU, renowned for producing world-class jazz guitars. Other tuners and pickguard have been replaced. The capacitor is Vitamin Q. A "supreme" instrument left behind by the now-deceased master craftsman. There are scratches, scuffs, and minor dents, but it is a player's condition, adjusted for playing.
