This is a gorgeous obi with a white base and elegant colors like gold thread, pink, orange, and pale gray. The design is similar to the "Kashoku-komon" pattern, and the combination of classic motifs with modern colors is very lovely. It would be perfect for formal occasions and tea ceremonies, paired with iro-muji (colored kimono without patterns), tsukesage (semi-formal kimono), and homongi (visiting kimono), as well as furisode (kimono for unmarried women). There is a general, faint yellowing on the lining. It's shown in the last photo, but it's subtle and didn't photograph well. There are wrinkles from wear, but no noticeable stains or other issues that would be obvious when worn.
