This is a rather unusual pattern among the 80's Levi's 501s. While I've seen some from this era with the fabric backing dyed a light brown, this is the first time I've encountered this. You can't see it unless you roll up the cuffs, but the inside lining has a slightly bluish tint. Looking at the paper patch, you can tell that it wasn't dyed later by a private owner. The color remains at about 70%, so you can still enjoy the fading.
