Thank you for viewing. This is a calligraphy suzuri (inkstone). It's a Chinese inkstone. Qixing Inkstone, Fish Roe Pattern, 8 inches, comes with a wooden box and a brocade box. It weighs 1.5 kg. Some people may dislike the bumpy pattern, but it's a hard inkstone, grinds ink well, and is a good one. There are scratches on the lid of the wooden box. Please check the photos. Also, the checkered pattern on the back is from a mat placed there to prevent slipping. It can be removed by wiping. I am selling it to organize my belongings.
