I love hand-blown glass, and I visited Miyoyo Oyabu's workshop "HIZUKI" in Yomitan Village, Okinawa, quite a while ago. This piece was purchased about 10 years ago at an exhibition at "Amaharashi" in Shirokanedai. I feel that her work has a bold and powerful style with a natural warmth. I have displayed it in a cupboard and have hardly used it. I would like to pass it on to someone who will use it, as it's a waste to keep it.
