This is a wooden carving of a Koropokkuru (Korobokkuru), a small person from Ainu folklore. The umbrella made of fuki leaves can be removed. The number "55" is printed on the bottom. Please be aware of this. Additional information: I found a signature carved on it, so I added images. See images 7 and 8. It's difficult to see, but it appears to say "Sakusaku Michi." Size: Base length: 10cm Base width: 7cm Width including umbrella: Approximately 15cm (varies depending on umbrella position) Height including umbrella: 16cm I would like to pass this on to someone who will cherish it.
