This reversible hanhaba obi combines a batik-style print featuring birds and plants on high-quality cotton lawn with domestically produced shikon-iro (purple) Japanese linen, a color considered noble since ancient times. Recommended for those who love unique obis, such as African fabrics and ethnic styles. The batik-style print fabric was pre-washed before production, and no color bleeding was observed, so you can use it with confidence during the sweaty season or on rainy days (washing is not possible). Also, the batik-style print side has two seams at 170cm and 160cm from the edge (photo 8). Stitches have also been added for reinforcement. This design will end with the two items currently listed. Instead of using adhesive interfacing that peels off in a few years, it is tailored by hand-sewing a domestic Mikawa core, and the seams are the same as commercially available products. I graduated from a fashion vocational school, so I have professional-level skills in Western tailoring. Production and listing will end when the fabric stock runs out.
