This is a rare, Sumizome (ink-dyed) BACKLASH rider's jacket. I'm not sure exactly how it's dyed, but as you wear it, the black base underneath comes out nicely. It's from "BACKLASH," and refers to a dyeing method using Sumi (carbon) as a dye, and the products made using this method. It's characterized by a unique unevenness and texture, especially used on linen fabrics, aiming to create a one-of-of-a-kind look. That's what it is! I'm still breaking it in, but I have too many, so I'm selling it to organize. It's not a stain, but rather a rider's jacket to be broken in. Is it a single or double? The width can be controlled.
