This is a tsumugi silk visiting kimono (tsukesage). With the original basting stitches still in place. A bamboo and笹 (bamboo grass) pattern is dyed on it. The texture is soft and fluffy. The color is bluish-gray, but bright. The lining (hakke) is a very pale gray. It can be worn for outings or lunch with friends. The pattern is also suitable for the New Year.
