This is a work by Dorian, a Venetian glass artist and maestro from the small, family-run workshop Pagan on Murano Island, Venice. It is a "millefiori" small plate, made using Venetian glass techniques, with many floral glass parts (murrine) combined as the maestro envisioned. It is a craft item formed through two firings and carefully polished one by one over a long period. It's lovely to display as a decorative plate as is, or you can use it as a container for accessories like rings and necklaces, or as a dish for sweets.
