I test-played this for about a week after opening it. I used a cloth when test-playing, so it did not directly touch my skin. There are no noticeable stains or scratches, but please forgive any oversights as it has been stored personally. I purchased this for playing without a shoulder rest. I really liked it because I could position it in the center and adjust the angle, but I am selling it because I have replaced it with a higher one.
