1990's SEIKO ALBA CARIB cal.N944' A model from the 1990s, Seiko Alba Carib. This model has a similar atmosphere to the popular "N944-7A40" with a Speedmaster-like design. Manufacturer Model Number: N944-6A90 Caliber NO: N944 Production Date: July 1993 (Heisei 5) Quartz, working (new battery replaced in October 2025) All functions have been confirmed to be working, including the alarm sound. Mode switching by turning the crown at the zero position (current mode is displayed in the small window above the 6 o'clock position) The following modes are available: ・TIME: Time display (alarm off) ・TIME + Alarm mark: Time display (alarm on) ・Alarm mark + SET: (Alarm setting) ・→0←: 0 position adjustment, used after battery replacement or when the hands are misaligned ・TIMER: Timer, the hand moves counterclockwise to count down. ・CHRONO: Chronograph (stopwatch) During normal time display (TIME mode), the time is displayed with two hands (hour and minute hands) + calendar date display. The center hand in the center is the day display and does not move like a second hand, but this is not a malfunction. *Just in case, as someone previously thought this was a malfunction with the same caliber.
