This is a tea cup and saucer set from the "Rothschild Bird" series, a representative collection from the renowned Hungarian porcelain manufacturer Herend. It is said to have originated in the mid-19th century as an order from the wealthy Rothschild family in Europe, and it remains a popular and iconic series for Herend today.
