Muneatsu Nakamura A lacquer artist from Yamanaka, Ishikawa Prefecture. Born in 1932. The surface features pine bark lacquer (see photo of the bookmark) with pine, bamboo on the sides, and plum blossoms on the underside of the lid, creating a "Sho-Chiku-Bai" (pine, bamboo, and plum) motif. Suitable for celebrations and everyday use. Opening the lid reveals beautiful maki-e (sprinkled picture) lacquer work, which is delightful. There is a slight scratch on the side (see photo). The side of the wooden box is slightly discolored (see photo). There is no artist's bookmark. * Not eligible for combined shipping.
