This item was discovered in a storehouse of a home that has been in the family since the Edo period. It is a very rare iron kettle with a polygonal body and geometric patterns on the entire surface, made around the Meiji to Taisho periods. There is no enamel coating on the inside, and it is in a raw iron state, allowing you to enjoy water containing iron due to use. Although there is rust on the bottom and inside due to aging, there are no holes or cracks, and I believe the condition is good for its age. The handle, spout, and lid are all sturdy, making it an item with a strong presence.
