Karaori Fukuro Obi (Profile must be read) This is a very high-quality Fukuro Obi, woven to be plump and full. Because it's Karaori, it's much lighter than it looks. It's woven with multiple colors, making it easy to match, and has a light, beautiful sheen. Because it's woven so plumply, there may be some slight thread lifting, though it's not very noticeable. I took it to the kimono shop I always use and had them look at it. Apparently, it's a very good obi, the kind that's hard to find in stores these days.
