Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for the level of quality that a professional would produce. I use a home sewing machine. The edges are finished with a serger. I love kimonos, and I made this because I couldn't bear to throw away kimonos that were no longer wearable due to stains, dirt, or damage. Therefore, I've put in some effort, but there may be some fold lines, stains, or discoloration. I hope that those who understand vintage fabrics will consider purchasing. I've used a size 11 pattern from a commercially available book as a reference. It was made from a formal black kimono (tomesode) and Edo Komon. The sleeves are dolman sleeves. I may have overlooked something, but I don't think there are any major noticeable stains or damage. There is a small hook-and-eye closure on the front opening, so you can wear it open and slightly off the shoulders. You can also layer it with something with sleeves underneath. There is no lining or pockets. It would be suitable for someone who wears a size L. Size: Length: Approximately 70.5cm Width: Approximately 60cm (from armpit to armpit) Shoulder width ± Sleeve length: Approximately 60cm Measured flat. There may be some slight variations. Material: Probably silk (tomesode and Edo Komon) I have ironed it, but I'm not very good at it, so please excuse any wrinkles. Also, I will fold it compactly for shipping, so there may be some wrinkles as a result. The fabric has been unpicked and washed once. It has not been worn since then. Since it is not made of the same material, I recommend dry cleaning. Alternatively, you can gently wipe it with a tightly wrung towel or apply steam lightly. (Avoid wiping with a lot of water, as it may cause the pattern to bleed.) I will ship it in simple packaging. I have a cat, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
