The main unit itself has no noticeable scratches, but there are stains on the mattress, so I have listed it as "slightly scratched or dirty." These are not visible during normal use as towels or sheets are placed on top. Also, there is pilling on the sheet. Although it was used for a short period, the photos of the baby sleeping in this bassinet were truly adorable during the time they couldn't move...
