This is a folk craft doll handmade by local people in Africa. I purchased it over 10 years ago at a bazaar held at the Tokyo Union Church in Omotesando, Tokyo. I believe it was part of a donation activity for Africa. The design, featuring parents and a child together, is charming and delightful, and I decided to buy it at first sight. After purchasing it, I have kept it displayed in a glass cabinet, so I don't think there is any dust, dirt, or damage.
