I used these as monitor speaker stands placed on a desk for about a year. There are a few small spots where the paint has chipped, but other than that, there are no scratches and they are still perfectly usable. I'm now using different monitor speakers, so I no longer have a use for these, and I'd like to pass them on to someone who wants them. For shipping reasons, these are only sold as a set of two.
