This is a high-quality, elegant tie from Luigi Borrelli. It retails for approximately 20,000 yen. The size is a very standard 8.5cm at the widest point, making it easy for anyone to wear. I was looking for a gold-toned tie, but I found that ties that were too bright or looked cheap would stand out in a bad way. I was looking for a gold-toned tie that would match well with shirts and suits when a shop clerk at a select shop I frequent recommended this tie. Borrelli is excellent at selecting materials, and the size of the knot and the dimple when tied are superb. I really like the brand. This tie also has an excellent, substantial feel. Anyone can easily create a perfect single knot and dimple with it, and it won't come undone all day. (Personally, I feel that high-quality, handmade ties that cost a lot of money don't come undone easily when worn.) This tie is, as expected from Borrelli, made with a truly exquisite balance of gold and white, and it matches very well with both white and blue shirts. The combination of this tie and a white shirt creates a perfect look because the white in the tie links seamlessly with the shirt. Also, thanks to the blue stripes, it also goes well with blue shirts. This combination also links the shirt and tie, complementing each other, which I really liked. It also goes well with navy and charcoal gray suits, and it was one of my favorites because it creates a slightly luxurious look around the chest. The material is 100% silk, and as mentioned above, the material has a good thickness, which gives it a sense of quality. I also liked that it creates a nice, full volume from the collar to the chest, giving it a high-class look at a glance (it was actually quite expensive, haha). I usually rotate between 20-30 ties, so I only wore this tie 2-3 times. Moreover, with the recent increase in working from home, I have drastically reduced the opportunity to wear ties. Therefore, I decided to sell it while it's still in good condition, hoping that someone who likes it will use it.
