I bought this design because I thought I could wear it with jeans and zip it up to the neck, eliminating the need for a scarf. It has no stretch. I think it can be worn with thin knit tops or dresses. The color is probably gray. It can also look brown depending on how you look at it. It's easy to match. The length is short.
