Flamenco castanets made by HERNANDEZ. I believe these were given to me by an acquaintance. Both the body and the strings are clean, with no noticeable stains. Compared to the warm, somewhat "poky-poky" sound of wooden castanets, these produce a slightly higher-pitched, core-filled sound.
