I have created a pincushion by arranging the Kogin-zashi technique, traditional to the Tsugaru region, in a modern style. It is embroidered with ecru thread on Congress cloth. The coarse weave of the fabric makes it very easy to stitch without leaving needle marks. A wooden bowl is used for the base. To ensure it can be cherished for a lifetime, I have adopted a Japanese-made product. It is made by Tsubaki, characterized by its vibrant wood grain and hard, durable material. The cotton filling inside is silicone-fiber processed, which helps prevent needles from rusting. Size: Approximately 7 cm in diameter, 5 cm in height. There are 3 types of patterns (Tambourine, Moroccan, Triangle), 3 types of colors (Greige, Navy, Black), and 3 types of wooden bowl colors (Ecru, Brown, Dark Brown). Orders are also accepted.
