This is the official guidebook for the first ever World Exposition held in Japan (Osaka Expo/EXPO '70). The enthusiasm is on a completely different level compared to the second Osaka Expo next year. This is evident throughout the text, and you can feel the historical context. The pavilion introductions are also interesting, with countries that no longer exist or have changed names, giving a sense of history. The corporate advertisements are also impressive, giving a sense of the times. There's even a price list for the cafeteria menus, which gives you an idea of the cost of living. It's filled with the hope that the future is absolutely bright, and reading it feels like reliving the Showa era. Although there is some aging on the cover and paper quality, the inside has no writing or underlining, and I think it's in relatively good condition for a used book.
