This is a nylon A-2 type deck jacket from "Timberland" from around the 1990s. With a crisp nylon fabric and a design that likely samples the US Navy's A-2 deck jacket, this short-length boxy silhouette is a very cool piece. I've only been struck by a few Timberland items before, but I finally found one that made me say, "Wow..." I searched around, but I couldn't find the same one. I think it's quite rare. The chest pocket, which looks like the early mountain pocket, is also a nice touch. It's warm with the padding inside, and I think it will be very useful this time of year.
